Reroll Economy

verified 2026-07-10 · VV: Ultimatum systems & progression

The reroll economy in VV: Ultimatum covers ability, weapon and clan rerolls - the token consumables, Robux prices, pity guarantees and the keep-or-switch safety net - as documented in creator videos and community sources.

VV: Ultimatum runs three separate reroll tracks. Abilities (Shikai/Schrift/Resurreccion) reroll through Ability Tokens via a reroll button on the ability tab; weapons reroll through the Experimental Hogyoku Shard; and clans reroll at character creation with Clan Tokens. The single most important rule, shown on camera: ability rerolling is risk-free, because after each roll you choose whether to KEEP your previous ability or switch to the new one.

Pity systems back the gacha. Clan rolls have a documented pity at 100 rolls, and multiple creators independently confirm an ability pity as well - one obtained Blooming Madness 'with my pity', another hit pity on both his Los Lobos ability rolls and his clan rolls, and two creators estimate about 15,000 Robux to guarantee a 1% Legendary ability (a creator estimate, not an official figure).

Documented prices from on-camera shop footage: clan rolls cost 90 Robux for 1, 360 for 5 and 3,000 for 50. Note the conflict with Pro Game Guides, which lists clan reroll packs at 99/399/789 Robux - both are shown here with attribution pending verification. Weapon-reroll shards appear randomly in the world, in codes, and in the shop at the same price as ability rerolls - but Los Lobos slots cannot weapon-reroll at all, since the dual pistols are that element's fixed weapon.

Free routes stack up quickly: promotional codes (UPDATE2 granted 20 ability rerolls; UPDATE1 granted rerolls plus an Experimental Hogyoku Shard), the Update 2 AFK World shop (a Build Reset Token for 500 materials, a clan reroll for 12, plus ability tokens and ability reset tokens), Ascension bundles (3 Ability Tokens, 3 Experimental Hogyoku Shards and 5 Clan Tokens per documented tier), and The Hogyoku's wishes, which convert one Mythical item into 7 ability rerolls or 7 Experimental Shards. Community documentation also describes a crafting route in which 7 Hogyoku Fragments combine into a reroll - pending verification.

Ability rerolls and the keep-or-switch rule

Once you obtain your Shikai, Resurreccion or Schrift, the ability tab gains a reroll button that consumes Ability Tokens (see the Ability Token consumable page). Each reroll presents the new result and lets you choose: keep your previous ability or switch to the new roll. Shown on camera, this removes the classic gacha risk of rolling away a good ability - the only cost of a bad roll is the token itself.

Legendary abilities (Senbonzakura, Blooming Madness, Los Lobos, Praying Mantis) sit at 1%, with rarities below them at 9%, 30% and 60% brackets - so most players bank tokens and spend them in bursts rather than one at a time.

Pity systems and the 15,000 Robux guarantee

Three creators independently confirm a pity mechanic on ability rolls: one explicitly obtained Blooming Madness 'with my pity', another spent over $100 in Robux rolling for The Superstar and confirms the system, and a third hit pity on both his ability and clan rolls in the same video. Clan pity is documented at 100 rolls; ability pity is reported around the same threshold.

Two creators put the cost of guaranteeing a 1% ability at roughly 15,000 Robux through paid rolls. Treat this as a creator estimate of the pity route's total cost, not an official price - but it is the number the community budgets around when chasing Los Lobos or another Legendary.

Clan rerolls and pricing

Clans reroll at character creation: everyone gets one free Clan Reroll there, and further rolls consume Clan Tokens (see the Clan Token consumable page) from codes, Ascension rewards (5 per documented tier) or direct purchase. On-camera shop footage documents clan roll packs at 90 Robux for 1, 360 for 5 and 3,000 for 50, with pity at 100 rolls.

Pro Game Guides lists different pack prices - 99 Robux for 1, 399 for 5, 789 for 10 - which conflicts with the on-camera 90/360/3,000 pricing. Both are recorded here with attribution; prices may have changed between updates, so verify in-game before budgeting. See the Clans system page for the full clan tables and odds.

Weapon rerolls and the Los Lobos lock

Weapon rerolling uses the Experimental Hogyoku Shard (see its consumable page), found randomly in the world, granted by codes, or bought in the shop at the same price as ability rerolls per video documentation. Since weapon type shapes M1s, criticals and scaling, shards are the escape hatch from a weapon that does not fit your build.

One hard exception is demonstrated on camera: Los Lobos users cannot reroll their weapon - the shard refuses on a Los Lobos slot because the element's dual pistols are its fixed weapon. Roll your ability before investing shards if you are hunting Los Lobos.

Free and bulk reroll sources

Codes: UPDATE2 granted 20 ability rerolls, and UPDATE1 granted ability rerolls plus an Experimental Hogyoku Shard - update-launch codes are the single biggest free infusion of rerolls.

The AFK World added in Update 2 pays out every 10 minutes, and its currency shop sells a Build Reset Token for 500 materials, a clan reroll for 12, plus ability tokens and ability reset tokens - a slow but fully AFK reroll income (see the Build Reset Token consumable page).

Ascension (the level-100 prestige) includes 3 Ability Tokens, 3 Experimental Hogyoku Shards and 5 Clan Tokens in each documented reward bundle.

The Hogyoku, the Mythical wish item, converts into bulk rerolls: its wishes include 'I want 7 ability rerolls' and 'I want 7 experimental shards' (see The Hogyoku consumable page). Community documentation additionally describes a crafting chain through Hogyoku Fragments - crafted from the Legendary Hogyoku Shard material - with 7 fragments combining into a reroll; this route is pending verification.

Community notes (Discord)

Community-documented pricing (June 2026): the 25-spin reroll bundle costs 3,800 Robux, one of the community's most-cited pricing complaints.

Community-documented economy snapshot (1,697-star post, June 2026): ability rerolls cost about $2.20 each (about 199 Robux) with pity at every 100 rolls, a single build reset costs about 1,000 Robux, and the then-latest code granted only 3 ability rerolls.

FAQ

Can I lose my ability by rerolling?

No - per video documentation, after each ability reroll you choose whether to keep your previous ability or switch to the new roll, so a bad roll only costs the token.

How much does it cost to guarantee a 1% Legendary ability?

Creators estimate about 15,000 Robux through paid rolls to hit the pity guarantee (pity is documented at 100 rolls for clans and reported around the same for abilities). This is a creator estimate, not an official price.

Why can't Los Lobos reroll its weapon?

The Experimental Hogyoku Shard refuses on a Los Lobos slot - demonstrated on camera - because the element's dual pistols are its fixed weapon. Every other documented element can weapon-reroll normally.
