Clans

verified 2026-07-10 · VV: Ultimatum systems & progression

Clans are rollable family lines in VV: Ultimatum, assigned at character creation, that grant permanent passive buffs. Each of the three factions has ten documented clans across four rarity tiers (Legendary 1%, Rare 9%, Uncommon 30%, Common 60%), rerollable with Clan Tokens.

Every character in VV: Ultimatum rolls a clan at creation - a family name with a permanent passive stat line attached. Clans are faction-specific: Soul Reapers roll Shinigami families like Shihoin and Kurotsuchi, Hollows roll Espada-flavored lines like Cifer and Jaegerjaquez, and Quincy roll Wandenreich names like Kurosaki and Haschwalth. Thirty clans are documented in total, ten per faction.

All three factions share the same rarity ladder: Legendary clans sit at 1% odds, Rare at 9%, Uncommon at 30% and Common at 60%. Legendary clans are the only ones that change your body as well as your stats - Komamura turns you into a wolfman, Eisenhauer grants a metal arm, Aaroniero swaps your head for a jar and Cifer bleaches your skin completely white.

The buffs are small percentages, but they are permanent and free, which is why clan rerolling is a standard early-game ritual. You get one free Clan Reroll during character creation, promotional codes periodically hand out Clan Tokens, and each Ascension (the level-100 prestige) awards 5 Clan Tokens. Pro Game Guides additionally lists Robux reroll packs at 99 Robux for 1, 399 for 5 and 789 for 10.

Most stat lines are consistent across community sources, but a handful conflict - Shihoin's Shunpo Stamina is listed anywhere from +12 to +15 depending on the outlet, Abarai appears as both +5 and +8 Health, and Bloxinformer swaps Madarame's and Matsumoto's buffs relative to everyone else. Every conflict is shown below with attribution rather than silently resolved.

Rerolling: Clan Tokens and odds

Clan rerolls happen at character creation. Everyone gets one free Clan Reroll there, and Clan Tokens - the reroll currency - come from promotional codes and from Ascension: both documented Ascension tiers award 5 Clan Tokens each alongside their other rewards. Pro Game Guides also lists direct Robux purchases: 1 reroll for 99 Robux, 5 for 399, 10 for 789.

With Legendary odds at 1%, rolling for Shihoin, Cifer or Kurosaki is a long grind - the practical community advice is to bank code-sourced Clan Tokens, take any Legendary or strong Rare (Kuchiki, Yamamoto, Ishida, Haschwalth, Jaegerjaquez, Kufang), and remember that clan buffs are small enough that no roll is run-ruining.

Community notes (Discord)

Community note (starboard, 328 stars): hitting a legendary consumes your reroll pity even if you do not want the result, and clan rerolls offer no discard or keep-or-switch option (unlike ability rerolls, which document a keep-or-switch choice). Pending verification.

FAQ

What are the rarest clans in VV: Ultimatum?

The Legendary clans at 1% odds: Kurotsuchi, Komamura and Shihoin for Shinigami; Cifer, Aaroniero and Chelute for Hollows; Kurosaki and Eisenhauer for Quincy. They are also the only clans with body-changing effects like the wolfman form or metal arm.

How do I reroll my clan?

At character creation - you get one free Clan Reroll there, and additional rerolls come from Clan Tokens (codes and Ascension rewards, 5 per Ascension) or Robux packs (99 Robux for 1, 399 for 5, 789 for 10 per Pro Game Guides).

Do clan buffs matter?

They are permanent free stats, so yes - but they are small (mostly 1-5% or flat +5 values). Legendaries like Shihoin (mobility) and Cifer (+20% longer Resurreccion) are the only ones with build-defining effects; a Common roll will not sink a character.
