Los Lobos

Legendary (1.0%)
verified 2026-07-11 · VV: Ultimatum elements

Los Lobos is a Legendary Arrancar element in VV: Ultimatum, rolled at a 1.0% chance, a dual-pistol kit running on Ammo Charges and an Overheat Meter, with a wolf-summoning Resurreccion and the mastery-locked Cero: Metralleta.

Los Lobos is the gunslinger of the Arrancar pool, managed through two passives. Ammo Charges give you 3 Blue Bullets for the Left Gun and 1 Orange Bullet for the Right Gun; moves consume their gun's ammo, bullets recharge over time, and move cooldowns are tied to them. The Overheat Meter builds as you attack with your pistols (M1s, crits, and moves) - firing a move at 60%+ overheat forces a gun swap that leaves you briefly vulnerable.

The guns themselves split roles: Left Gun (Ctrl + M1, left style) spins up and fires an auto-tracking orb for 1 Blue Bullet, while Right Gun (right style) releases a powerful ranged blast for 1 Orange Bullet. With Reiatsu Efficiency Level 4, Shotgun Blast fires a Left Gun projectile that you split with M2 into three smaller auto-tracking shots, costing 1 Blue Bullet and half an Orange Bullet.

Resurreccion trades bullets for fangs. Soul Partition (Ctrl + M2) summons three wolves behind you and swaps your M1/M2 - Left and Right Gun are unavailable while it is active. Call of The Wild sends a wolf to strike (consuming it), and Camilla slashes relentlessly before the remaining wolves pounce. At 100% mastery, dealing 100 damage unlocks Cero: Metralleta, announced by a wolf's howl - space closes around your enemies before a ruthless barrage of shots. Upgrades let Right Gun kills disintegrate targets and light attacks snipe launched enemies out of the air. No variants are currently documented.

Partial Resurreccion moveset

Two passives govern the kit. Ammo Charges: 3 Blue Bullets for the Left Gun and 1 Orange Bullet for the Right Gun; using a move with a gun consumes its ammo, bullets recharge over time, and move cooldowns are tied to them. Overheat Meter: attacking with your pistols gradually builds overheat, and using a move at 60% or higher forces a gun swap that leaves you vulnerable for a short period.

Left Gun (Ctrl + M1, left style) spins your left pistol before firing an auto-tracking orb - costs 1 Blue Bullet. Right Gun (Ctrl + M1, right style) spins your right pistol before releasing a powerful ranged blast - costs 1 Orange Bullet. Right Gun: Shotgun Blast (Ctrl + M1 + M2, requires Reiatsu Efficiency Level 4) fires a Left Gun projectile, then splits the orb with M2 into three smaller auto-tracking projectiles - costs 1 Blue Bullet and half an Orange Bullet.

Resurreccion

Soul Partition (Ctrl + M2) summons three wolves behind you and changes your M1 and M2 moves; Left and Right Gun cannot be used while it is active. Call of The Wild (Ctrl + M1 with wolves) sends a wolf out to strike the enemy, causing that wolf to disappear. Camilla (Ctrl + M2 with wolves) slashes relentlessly forward before your remaining wolves jump onto the opponent.

Cero: Metralleta (Ctrl + M2 after dealing 100 damage, requires 100% mastery) encloses the space around your enemies before firing a ruthless barrage of shots. A wolf's howl plays when the requirement is met.

Milestone upgrades

Recharge Rate: no special milestone effects documented.

Reiatsu Efficiency: Level 4 lets your Right Gun split a Left Gun projectile into 3 smaller projectiles, at the cost of half a charge.

Damage: Level 3 makes killing someone with your Right Gun disintegrate them; Level 4 lets a light attack after landing a successful air launcher snipe the target out of the air.

Video-documented details

Gun play as shown on camera: you carry three left-gun bullets against a single right-gun cero, and the left gun auto-tracks with no aiming required. Overheating (built through M1s and moves) lets you swap guns with Z, but the swap locks you in a brief idle animation - and per one creator the last ability on your current gun deals more damage while overheated, making the swap a rhythm rather than a penalty. An X follow-up input after the left gun splits the next right-gun shot into three tracking bolts for half the right-gun charge, matching the documented Shotgun Blast.

In Resurreccion, footage shows the wolf loop ending in Camilla - rendered 'Colmillo' (Starrk's canon technique) in video documentation - a slash barrage whose final slash consumes all remaining wolves behind you for scaling damage: the more wolves left, the harder it hits. Cero: Metralleta became available after roughly 100 damage dealt and itself hit for around 100 on camera; one creator calls it 'the most damage in the game' (opinion), with the caveat that it needs a mostly stationary target. The mode's wolf summon is heard as 'Call of Wind' in some videos versus the documented Call of The Wild.

Economy and pairing notes from creator videos: Los Lobos slots cannot weapon-reroll - the Experimental Hogyoku Shard visibly refuses on a Los Lobos character because the guns are its fixed weapon - and two creators independently estimate about 15,000 Robux to guarantee the 1% roll through the pity system. The kit is extremely reiatsu-hungry, is rated poorly with Hakuda builds, and famously pairs with Gran Rey Cero, the raid-obtained Arrancar Kido that consumes two bars, your entire reiatsu bar and a chunk of HP to hit like a nuke (~100 damage observed), its charge persisting only in combat and cosmetically making it rain map-wide.

Community notes (Discord)

Community counterplay note (Discord, 231-star post): Cero: Metralleta does not fully lock targets down - opponents can block-walk out of the barrage and punish the roughly 2-second reload that follows it. The same post confirms base-form Los Lobos is locked to the guns and cannot use other weapons.

Community-documented interaction (Discord, 233-star post): skills gated behind a sword requirement and activated by a self-inflicted cut (e.g. Psycho Crash, Gran Rey Cero) remain usable on Los Lobos despite the gun kit - the game still grants the sword-cut animation - while fist-locked Vasto Lorde characters cannot use them.

Community-reported issues (Discord, 334-star post, June 2026): the guns' critical is rated the weakest in the game - less damage than heavy-weapon M1s, a poor windup hitbox, and no riposte; the overheat-forced gun swap stuns the user for nearly 2 seconds; and a reported bug lets a hit during the Soul Partition (wolf summon) startup cancel the wolves while still locking you into the wolf moveset for most of the form's duration. The post also explains why the kit pairs poorly with Hakuda: gun moves need the guns out, Hakuda moves need them away.

Conflicting reports on the Shotgun Blast split (Reiatsu Efficiency Level 4): video documentation (Verm) shows the left-gun projectile being split into three tracking bolts on camera, but a widely-supported Discord post (723 stars, June 2026) reports the projectile flies too fast to split in practice, calling the upgrade unusable - both versions retained pending verification. The same post adds community-reported detail: gun M1s swing at greatsword/hammer speed with far lower stun, the forced gun swap stuns for nearly 2 whole seconds, and the Right Gun deals barely more damage than the Left Gun despite worse range and higher cost.

Sourcing conflict on the Hakuda pairing, both versions recorded: a 334-star Discord post calls running Los Lobos with Hakuda almost impossible in practice (the Res gun skills need the guns out, while Hakuda moves are unusable with the guns out), yet creator video documentation (JustKenshi) rates Los Lobos as overpowered when paired with Strength or Hakuda builds. The two may reconcile as synergy in base form but a clash inside the Res; pending verification.

Patch notes (official)

Update/patch 2026-06-22 - using a Los Lobos move while on Hakuda now temporarily quickdraws the weapon for that move (official dev patch notes).

FAQ

How does Los Lobos's ammo system work?

You hold 3 Blue Bullets for the Left Gun and 1 Orange Bullet for the Right Gun. Moves consume their gun's ammo, bullets recharge over time, and cooldowns are tied to the recharge - so ammo discipline is the core skill of the kit.

What is Cero: Metralleta and how do I unlock it?

The mastery finisher: with 100% mastery, dealing 100 damage in form unlocks it (signalled by a wolf's howl). It encloses space around enemies and unleashes a barrage of shots.

Can I use my guns while the wolves are out?

No - while Soul Partition is active your M1/M2 become wolf moves, and Left Gun and Right Gun are unavailable until the mode ends.

Can Los Lobos reroll its weapon?

No - per video documentation the Experimental Hogyoku Shard refuses on a Los Lobos slot, because the dual pistols are the element's fixed weapon. Plan your build around the guns.
