Stagger
EffectStagger is a Soft Crowd-Control effect that interrupts an enemy's current action and briefly delays its movement, rather than reducing its speed continuously like Slow does. By default it lasts 4 seconds on a 10 second cooldown per applier.
Salmon Sorcerer (Grade 1) and its base form Salmon Sorcerer are the only documented appliers of Stagger, tying the effect closely to that unit's kit.
Details
How Stagger works
Stagger interrupts actions and briefly delays movement for 4 seconds by default, running on a 10 second cooldown per applier. Unlike Slow, which reduces speed by a factor over its duration, Stagger's core function is disruption, cutting off an enemy's current action and pausing its advance.
As a Soft Crowd-Control effect, Stagger shares its cooldown bracket with other Soft Crowd-Control tools like Slow and Dismembered, and Crowd-Control effects of the same type can conflict with each other on reapplication.
Units that apply Stagger
Stagger is applied by Salmon Sorcerer (Grade 1) and Salmon Sorcerer. The unit's kit determines the exact conditions under which Stagger triggers and whether its duration or cooldown differ from the defaults listed above.
