King Crocodile Scale

The King Crocodile Scale is a boss material with a quest attached. It is obtained as a direct drop from The Crocodile King, the crocodile boss encounter - killing the boss is the only documented source, so your scale income is tied to its spawn schedule.

Documentation lists two kinds of demand. On the quest side, the scale is required for Guardian of the Gate. On the crafting side, the community card lists a crafting slot for it (the specific recipe field is not filled in on the card), and cross-referencing the respec economy shows the big one: the Build Reset Token recipe requires 7 King Crocodile Scales - the largest single-material count in that Level 70+ craft.

Note the distinction from the plural 'Crocodile Scales' hollow part, which drops from regular Crocodile hollows as well as the King - the King Crocodile Scale documented here is the boss-specific material. If you are working toward a Build Reset Token, plan for repeat Crocodile King kills; seven scales does not happen by accident.
