The Crocodile King
The Crocodile King is a crocodile-like hollow that rules the marsh from a throne in Swamp King's Retreat. Community documentation describes him decked out in a golden crown, a red cape and gold ornaments on his waist, legs and arms, crushing challengers with his Morning Star. He respawns on a cooldown of roughly 5 minutes, making him one of the most farmable bosses in the game.
Phase one is built around the Morning Star. Stomp is a yellow-kanji attack that crumples for low damage, King's Grasp is a yellow-kanji grab that ragdolls (dodgeable, low damage), and his Sweep and Slam are conventional blockable, parryable and dodgeable swings with medium damage and medium posture damage.
At 40% HP he enters his second phase, hurling the Morning Star away - the throw itself can hit you, so watch its arc - and switching to a set of new, faster attacks. Phase two brings Left Claw and Right Claw, both blockable, parryable and dodgeable strikes at medium-plus damage and posture damage, plus his signature Maxilla Cero: a blockable, parryable blast documented at high-plus damage (around 180) and high-plus posture damage (95%).
His documented rewards are the Marshland King charm, The King's Crown head equipment and the King Crocodile Scale material, alongside 5 Crocodile Scales, and the kill drops 4 Swamp Chests. With the short respawn timer and a readable phase-one kit, he is commonly treated as a repeatable marsh fight.

Fight tips
In phase one he usually chains around 1-3 normal attacks before committing to a yellow-kanji move, and each normal attack leaves room for roughly 2-3 M1s depending on your weapon - the fight rewards patience over aggression. Holding S keeps you out of the Stomp's effective range and makes his animations easier to read.
Phase two normal attacks come out much faster; aim your parry at the very start of the swipe animation. The Cero has a reliable parry cue - time it to the moment he lowers his upper body.
Community notes (Discord)
Community note (starboard, 143 stars): the boss arena is entered through a waterfall - a popular post proposed "thickening" it mid-fight to keep outsiders out, implying the waterfall is the only way in. Pending verification.
