Crocodile

verified 2026-07-09 · VV: Ultimatum enemies

The Crocodile is a medium-tier swamp hollow in VV: Ultimatum that drops Crocodile Scales and attacks with Bite, a high-posture Triple Bite, and a dodge-only Chew.

The Crocodile is a medium health, medium damage hollow documented among the enemies of the Swamp, sharing its habitat with Toads, Marsh Turtles and the region's boss, the Crocodile King. The Ascension prestige system also lists 'Crocodile Hollow Access' as an Ascension 2 reward, so at least one Crocodile population is tied to prestige progression.

Its bites escalate in threat. The basic Bite is parryable, blockable and dodgeable with low damage and low-medium posture damage. Triple Bite is the guard-breaker: medium damage with high posture damage across three snaps - parry it or step out rather than blocking the full chain. Chew is the defense-ignorer, dealing medium damage with only a dodge listed as a counter, so treat it like a grab and keep a dodge in reserve.

Crocodiles drop Crocodile Scales, a hollow part that cross-referenced material lists also attribute to the Crocodile King himself. As with most marsh content, reaching them means dealing with the zone's toxic fumes, which the craftable Respirator negates.
