Monster Iris

The Monster Iris is the harvested eye of a Tongue Hollow, dropped by the Licker Hollows that roam Hueco Mundo. It follows the game's standard species-part pattern - one signature material per Hollow type - and behaves like the rest of the family: droppable to other players, storable in the bank, and vendorable, in this case for 12.

Note the naming overlap in community sources: the item's flavor text calls the creature a Tongue Hollow while the drop source is documented as Licker Hollows - these refer to the same Hueco Mundo enemy type, not two different farms.

Crafting uses are not yet documented. The community page for the iris is explicitly marked in-progress with no recipe list, and broader materials coverage does not mention it at all, so for now its only confirmed role is vendor income from Hueco Mundo farming. That said, several Hueco Mundo parts already anchor recipes - Wendigo Skulls feed Ritual Oil, for example - so the conservative play is the usual one for undocumented parts: bank a modest stack in case the iris turns out to gate something, and sell the rest. Since Lickers share territory with Wendigo farming routes and Junichiro's spawn area, most players will pick up irises passively rather than farming them on purpose.
