Dragonfly
Dragonflies are the weakest hollows documented in the community records, sitting at very low health and very low damage. They are less an enemy encounter and more a nuisance mechanic: they never appear on their own. To fight them, a player either interacts with a dedicated spawn object in the fields, or they get summoned mid-fight by the Giant Dragonfly boss's Broodswarm passive or by a Licker's first Acidic Explosion.
Whenever they do appear, they come in groups of 3, so expect to be swarmed rather than dueled. Their entire kit is a single move: Bite, a basic m1 string that is parryable, blockable and dodgeable, dealing low damage and low posture damage. Individually they pose almost no threat; in a group they mostly serve to chip posture and distract you while a bigger threat - usually the Giant Dragonfly itself - keeps swinging.
Community documentation does not list any drops for the standard Dragonfly, and no spawn timer applies since they are summon-only. If you need to clear them fast, area attacks or simply parrying through their bites works, as nothing in their kit bypasses block or parry.

Community bug note (starboard, 406 stars): Dragonflies (spawned by the Giant Dragonfly wave) can appear under the map during Gauntlet trials, soft-locking the run since the wave cannot be completed. Pending verification.

FAQ
Where do Dragonflies spawn?
They do not roam naturally. They must be spawned by interacting with a spawn object in the fields, or they are summoned by the Giant Dragonfly boss or by the Licker hollow, always in groups of 3.
What do Dragonflies drop?
Community documentation lists no drops for the standard Dragonfly. Quest bat wings and similar hollow parts come from other mobs.
