Soul Society

verified 2026-07-11 · VV: Ultimatum locations & npcs

Soul Society is the Shinigami home world and one of VV: Ultimatum's central hubs - a district-based city with The Hub's vendors, gate-towers, training grounds, a clothing store, four joinable squad houses (11, 4, 8 and 12) and jail cells for slain intruders.

Soul Society is the homeland of the Shinigami and one of the game's main hubs. Community documentation (Fandom) describes it as a city of large districts, training grounds and landmarks where Shinigami players pick up quests, advance their Soul Reaper rank and meet other players, making it central to both progression and exploration.

The heart of the city is The Hub, a single district that gathers a Crafting Table, an Animation Vendor, an Item Shop and the Soul Pager vendor (Kou). Around it sit the gate-towers used as mission meeting points, three sparring grounds with training dummies, and a Clothing Store where higher-ranking Shinigami buy cosmetic outfits from a documented 16 sets. Non-Shinigami who die inside the city are locked in its jail cells for a short time (around 8 minutes).

Four squads keep houses here - Squad 11, Squad 4, Squad 8 and Squad 12 - and joining any of them grants a distinct benefit. Note that this is the Shinigami home hub itself, distinct from the separate open-world Soul Society Outskirts region documented elsewhere on the wiki.
