Fort Adams is the starter hub of VV: Ultimatum, home to the statue of Gelum and the NPCs behind most early one-time quests - Nikla, Albrecht the Terrible, Hans, the Tailor and Grisha.

Fort Adams is where a new character's story begins and where it keeps circling back. The community's own card for the fort carries no written description, but cross-referenced quest and title documentation makes it the single densest NPC hub in the game's early progression, and the site of the statue tied to Gelum from the tutorial.

Five documented quest-givers operate here. Nikla starts Missing Necklace (LVL 0+), asking you to find her late brother's necklace in Sweetwater Pass. Albrecht the Terrible demands a fight for Albrecht's Mission (LVL 0+) - and losing to him awards 'The Terrible' title with Prayer Beads. Hans delivers A Guide to Getting Stronger (LVL 0+) through dialogue alone. The Tailor teaches equipment rerolling and transmutation at level 15+, and Grisha opens the level 50+ Gauntlet quest that ends at the fort's statue.

The statue is Fort Adams's long game: the Gauntlet boss rush is accessed through it after delivering a Dark Spirit Alloy, and at level 100 Kuchiki points you back to Gelum's statue at Fort Adams to begin the Ascension prestige questline. Detailed layout, shops and spawn points for the fort are not documented in the community source.

the ruined heart of the old fort around the spawn, now used as a refuge; it houses an Item Shop, a Crafting Table, a Merchant, an Animation Vendor, a Tailor and an Organization Manager

Mantis Cave

just right of Albrecht's Camp; it holds a Mantis Hollow that has no unique moves or appearance but carries a boss health bar (players usually find it while under-leveled). Defeating it rewards EXP and 2 chests

Gelum's Arena

entered by interacting with the statue outside it while a Lost Soul, at which point Gelum drops in from above to begin the fight; return as a non-Lost-Soul and the statue reads 'The statue is inert.' and the gates stay shut

Albrecht's Camp

the home of Albrecht the Terrible, where you can request a duel; nearby, Frederick gives the quest to slay the Mantis Hollow in the cave
