Piety

verified 2026-07-18 · Anime Expeditions enemies

Piety is a Secret-rarity Boss-type enemy in Anime Expeditions that closes out Fairy King Forest Act 5, the hardest Story stage in Fairy King Forest, spawning alongside the Armored, Tank, Commander, and Momentum modifiers.

Piety is the final boss of Fairy King Forest, appearing at the end of Fairy King Forest Act 5's 15-wave Story stage. As with King's Tomb, Fairy King Forest has no Expedition-mode counterpart in the client data, so Piety is currently only fought inside Story, Infinite, and Mastery runs of that zone.

Its wave stacks four modifiers at once, the most of any single Story boss encounter covered here: Armored, which shrugs off a flat 33% of incoming damage; Tank, which trades speed for a larger health pool; Commander, which buffs every enemy near it; and Momentum, which grows steadily more dangerous the longer it survives, stacking a damage buff up to 50% over time. The Armored and Tank combination in particular makes raw damage-per-second matter more here than burst timing, since flat damage reduction blunts single big hits almost as effectively as sustained ones.

Like every Boss-type enemy, Piety carries a hidden tag adding a flat 20% health multiplier and a 30% speed penalty on top of its listed stats, moving at the Boss tier's baseline speed multiplier of 1.68 and modeled at 0.8x scale. Incoming Stun and Rewind effects cap out at 10 stacks rather than being fully blocked, since Fairy King Forest's wave list does not carry the Immunity modifier.

Where Piety Appears

Piety closes out Fairy King Forest Act 5, the final and hardest Story stage in that zone. Like King's Tomb, Fairy King Forest has no Expedition-mode counterpart in the game's current data, so Piety is only fought inside Story, Infinite, and Mastery runs of Fairy King Forest.

Combat Behavior

Piety's wave stacks four modifiers at once, the heaviest modifier load of any Story boss covered here. Armored shrugs off a flat 33% of incoming damage, Tank trades speed for a larger health pool, Commander buffs every enemy near it, and Momentum stacks a damage buff up to 50% the longer the fight lasts.

Like every Boss-type enemy, Piety carries a hidden tag adding a flat 20% health multiplier and a 30% speed penalty on top of its listed stats, moving at the Boss tier's baseline speed multiplier of 1.68x and modeled at 0.8x scale. Fairy King Forest's wave list does not carry the Immunity modifier, so incoming Stun and Rewind effects are capped at 10 stacks rather than blocked outright.

How to Counter Piety

The Armored and Tank combination means flat damage reduction blunts single big hits almost as effectively as sustained ones, so raw damage-per-second matters more here than timing a single burst window.

Because Momentum's damage buff climbs the longer Piety survives, clearing the fight quickly is more efficient than dragging it out, especially with Commander buffing any nearby enemies the longer the wave lasts.

FAQ

Where do I fight Piety?

Piety closes out Fairy King Forest Act 5 in Story mode. It also appears in Infinite and Mastery runs of Fairy King Forest, but the zone currently has no separate Expedition stage in the game's data.

Why is Piety's wave so tanky?

It stacks both the Armored modifier, a flat 33% damage reduction, and Tank, which trades speed for a larger health pool, on top of the Boss tag's own 20% health bonus. Consistent damage output matters more here than a single burst window.

Does Piety get stronger over time?

Yes, through the Momentum modifier, which stacks a damage buff up to 50% the longer an enemy carrying it stays alive, making a faster clear more efficient than dragging the fight out.
