Striped Blue Hat

The Striped Blue Hat is one of four color variants in the striped hat family of Common head equipment, and each color carries its own stat line. The blue version grants +1 Max Reiatsu and +1% Kido Damage - exactly matching the Sava Hat, making the two interchangeable caster starters distinguished only by looks.

The family works as a color-coded stat menu: blue for Kido Damage plus Reiatsu, black for the biggest Reiatsu roll with Melee Defense (+2.5 Max Reiatsu, +1% Melee Defense), green for pure spell damage (+1.75% Kido Damage) and red for Kido Damage with Posture Regen (+1% and +4%). Knowing the mapping saves inventory checks when the hats drop.

For a new spell-focused character, the blue hat's +1% Kido Damage is a real, if small, early boost that compounds with skill choices. Community documentation records no source, level requirement or equipment load for any of the striped hats. Like all equipment they can potentially roll one of 13 modifiers, though the Tailor's 400-500 Soul Token reroll fee makes modifier-fishing on Common gear a poor investment; replace the hat with Rare caster pieces like the Gunslinger's Hat when they appear.
