Black Blindfold

The Black Blindfold is the caster's entry in the trio of Common black face items, granting +0.5% Kido Damage and +0.5% Melee Defense. It is the only one of the three with both an offensive and a defensive line, which technically makes it the most stat-efficient of the set - a fitting perk for the boldest fashion statement, a Tosen-style blindfold worn into battle.

Its siblings cover the alternatives: the Black Visor gives weapon users +0.5% Weapon Damage, and the Black Goggles give +1 Max Posture with the same +0.5% Melee Defense. All three are documented as dropping from various chests, with no zone restriction, drop rate, level requirement or equipment load recorded for any of them.

For a Kido build, the blindfold bridges the gap until the Rare face tier: the Arctic Explorer's Goggles quintuple the spell damage line (+2.5% Kido Damage) from Arctic Plains chests. Like all equipment, the blindfold can potentially roll one of the 13 modifiers - Precise (Kido Damage) fits its identity - though spending a Tailor's 400-500 Soul Token reroll fee on a Common item is rarely sensible. Wear it, level with it, replace it without regret.
