Black Visor
CommonThe Black Visor is one of three documented Common face items - all black, all chest drops - and the offensive option of the trio. Its single +0.5% Weapon Damage line makes it the earliest face-slot damage boost a weapon build can wear, and because face equipment stacks with head gear, even this half-percent adds to whatever your hat or helm provides.
Its siblings split the other roles: the Black Goggles go defensive (+1 Max Posture, +0.5% Melee Defense) and the Black Blindfold serves casters (+0.5% Kido Damage, +0.5% Melee Defense). All three are documented as found in various chests with no zone restriction, drop rate, level requirement or equipment load recorded.
The visor keeps its spot until the Rare face tier arrives - the Wraith Mask's +1.25% Weapon Damage and +5 Max Health is its direct replacement, first appearing in chests in The Marsh. Like all equipment, the visor can potentially roll one of the game's 13 modifiers (Deadly's Weapon Damage listing is the thematic match), though a Tailor's 400-500 Soul Token reroll fee is poor value against a Common base item; take the modifier you find and move on.
