Parasite's Mask

The Parasite's Mask is a PvE-slanted Rare face piece combining +2.5% Kido Defense - tied with the Chaos Shades for the best documented spell mitigation in the slot - with +3.0% Monster Damage, a conditional offensive line that applies against monster-type enemies. For players grinding world content, raids and boss farms, both stats pull in the same direction; in PvP the Monster Damage line goes dead and the mask becomes a pure defensive item.

It drops directly from the Parasite, the boss it is named for, giving it a confirmed and targetable source. Community documentation does not record the drop rate, a level requirement or an equipment load value.

Its natural comparison is the head slot's Umbral Cowl, which carries the same +3% Monster Damage alongside Kido offense instead of defense - wearing both stacks +6% total damage against monsters across two slots, a meaningful edge for farming efficiency. Like all equipment the mask can roll one of 13 modifiers; Ghostly (Kido Defense) doubles down on its defensive half, and a Tailor rerolls modifiers for 400-500 Soul Tokens.
