Umbral Cowl

The Umbral Cowl is a Rare head piece with an unusual offensive pairing. Its in-game tooltip - "a dark cowl that serves to hide the wearer's face from the horrors of mankind" - lists +2.75% Kido Damage, one of the strongest Kido lines in the Rare head tier, alongside +3% Monster Damage, a conditional bonus that only applies against monster-type enemies. Together they make the cowl a PvE caster's item: strong in raids and world content, with the Monster Damage line contributing nothing in player-versus-player fights.

It requires level 70 to equip. On sourcing, the documentation gives two answers: the community card lists it as found in Raids and Human World chests, while the captured tooltip reads "Found in Soul Society Outskirts." Both are recorded here; which is current is pending verification. No equipment load value is documented.

The documented tooltip screenshot shows a Tireless-modified copy carrying an extra +1.1 Shunpo Stamina line - that stat comes from the Tireless modifier roll, not the base cowl. As with all equipment, modifiers can be rerolled at a Tailor for 400-500 Soul Tokens; a Precise (Kido Damage) roll is the natural target.
