Hollow Soul
RareThe Hollow Soul is the catch-up item for Arrancars who evolved early. In the Hollow progression path, evolving to Arrancar as a Menos (Menoscar) or Adjuchas (Adjucar) locks you in with fewer hollow traits than a Vasto Lorde who waited - 2 or 3 traits instead of 4. The Hollow Soul exists to 'bridge the gap' between a Menoscar or Adjucar and a Vastocar.
Using it makes you a Vastocar outright: you roll a random fourth trait if you do not already have one, and you gain access to your Resurreccion weapon. In other words, it retroactively grants the benefits of having completed the full Vasto Lorde route - with the caveat that the new trait is random rather than farmed and chosen.
The recipe is 3 Hogyoku Shards, 4 Dark Essences and a Soul Chain. Hogyoku Shards are Legendary materials, so this is not a cheap craft - which is why community guides still recommend reaching Vasto Lorde naturally and picking your traits before evolving. But if you already pressed L too early, the Hollow Soul is your road back to a full-power Arrancar.
