You're In My Range

You're In My Range is the anti-rushdown charm, named with a JoJo wink - "Crazy Diamond's range is 2 meters..." It grants 35% defense towards gap-close abilities, flatly blunting the dash-ins, rushdowns, and lunge engages that define aggressive dueling. The second clause turns defense into a counterattack: after being attacked by a gap-close ability, your next basic attack or critical is empowered, on a 45-second cooldown.

Together the effects invert the usual engagement math. An opponent who leaps at you eats a 35% weaker opener and hands you an empowered punish for their trouble - so the charm effectively taxes the most common way people start fights in PvP. Against patient, walk-up opponents or pure ranged play, though, neither clause ever comes online.
