Train Conductor

Tier 2
verified 2026-07-11 · VV: Ultimatum spirit charms

Train Conductor is a Tier 2 Spirit Charm in VV: Ultimatum that steals a mission ticket when you kill an enemy player carrying one and raises your ticket cap by 1 - but dying costs you 2 mission tickets.

Train Conductor plays economist with the mission-ticket system - "Tickets please!" Killing an enemy player who has a mission ticket steals it for you, and your mission ticket cap is increased by 1, letting you bank more runs than anyone else. The red-text fare: dying will cause you to lose 2 mission tickets.

The charm creates its own predator-prey loop. Mission tickets gate mission access, so a hunter wearing Train Conductor turns other players' stockpiles into a farmable resource - every kill on a ticket-holder is a mission earned without grinding for it. The raised cap compounds the hoard. But the death penalty is double the theft rate, so a single bad fight refunds two of your victims.

It rewards confident PvP players who hunt around mission activity, and actively punishes anyone with a high death rate - the worst-case loadout is Train Conductor on a player who is usually the prey. It requires Level 10, weighs 1 wt., and is documented as found in The Marsh; no boss or vendor source is documented.
