Superiority Complex
Tier 2Superiority Complex turns the game's flashiest defensive read - the blade catch - into a psychological weapon. Blade-catching an opponent causes you to mock them, increasing your aura gain on the blade catch, on a 30-second cooldown. The mocked opponent instantly loses 0.2x AP and takes 15% increased posture damage for a short duration. "Adversity breeds excellence..." indeed.
The effect package swings three resources at once: your aura climbs, their AP drops on the spot, and their guard becomes 15% easier to crack while the mock lasts. That makes the follow-up window unusually rich - posture pressure is amplified exactly when the opponent is reeling from a caught attack and drained of ability resource.
Everything hinges on actually landing blade catches, one of the harder defensive techniques to use on demand - for players who cannot, the charm never activates. For confident defensive duelists, it is one of the more complete punish rewards in the Tier 2 roster. It requires Level 10 and weighs 1 wt.; its zone and source are not documented in current community documentation.

FAQ
What triggers Superiority Complex?
Landing a blade catch - you mock the opponent, gaining extra aura from the catch (30s cooldown) while they lose 0.2x AP instantly and take 15% more posture damage for a short time.
Is Superiority Complex worth it for beginners?
Only if you can blade catch consistently - every effect on the charm routes through that single defensive technique.
