Ruler's Gaze

Ruler's Gaze is an unmistakable Code Geass homage - "The world can not be changed with pretty words alone." - built around commanding your opponent to stop fighting. Performing a manual rushdown activates "Geass"; while it is active, you issue a command to the opponent to halt, freezing them for a free follow-up.

The restrictions keep it honest. Geass cannot be used on the same target twice and carries a cooldown, though being in "Aura" ignores the first restriction, letting an aura-popped aggressor command the same victim again. Two red-text clauses temper the punish: enemies affected by Geass have their damage taken reduced by 35%, so the "free" hit lands softer, and if your follow-up is blade caught, the cooldown continues as normal - a whiffed command is simply gone.

In practice it is a guaranteed-hit tool rather than a burst tool: ideal for landing slow, high-value attacks or securing posture damage that a mobile opponent would never allow.
