Radiant Edge

Radiant Edge sits in the Kido group of skill essences - unlockable skills that drop from bosses and raids rather than being bought from the skill trees. Its acquisition is documented plainly: it is a direct drop from Lord Nivis, the frost boss tied to the Everwhite Enclave questline, meaning you must deal enough damage to qualify for the kill credit and then rely on the drop roll.

The one documented mechanical detail is cosmetic-adaptive: the sword the essence produces takes its color from your reishi color, so the skill looks different from player to player. The in-game skill card describes the move as forming a greatsword made of reishi and swinging it in front of you, and lists a 38.0 Reiatsu cost (-1.8 per level), 37.0 cooldown (-0.6 per level), 35.0 damage and 36.0 posture damage; the essence's rarity, skill point cost and stat requirements are not shown on that card.

Because Lord Nivis is also the source of the Frostvein Crystal needed for the Upgrade Shrine questline, farming him serves double duty - hunting Radiant Edge and progressing the shrine unlock happen in the same fights. Until fuller documentation lands, treat every unlisted stat as unknown rather than zero; details are subject to change per current documentation.
