Warlord's Mantle

The Warlord's Mantle is a defensively rounded Rare body piece with no offensive stats: +7 Max HP, +4 Max Posture and +1% Kido Defense. The posture roll is the headline - +4 ties the largest Max Posture bonus documented on body equipment (shared with the Gravewood Warset), giving your guard meaningfully more room before it breaks. Combined with the health and a sliver of kido resistance, the mantle is a solid pick for players who block and trade rather than evade.

It is a direct drop from The Masked Warrior, one of VV: Ultimatum's bosses, so the farming loop is simple: fight that boss until the mantle appears. Direct boss drops avoid the diluted odds of regional chest pools, though community documentation records no actual drop rate, nor a level requirement or weight for the item.

Within the Rare body tier, its closest defensive rival is the Legendary Conqueror's Trophy (+3 Max Posture, +12 Max Health from Bears); the mantle trades five health for an extra point of posture and the kido defense line, and is arguably easier to target-farm. Modifier rules apply as with all equipment - 13 possible rolls, rerollable at a Tailor for 400-500 Soul Tokens.
