Waist Chains
CommonWaist Chains are among the simplest equipment pieces documented in VV: Ultimatum: a Common misc item with one stat, +0.75% Kido Damage. For a fresh kido build, that fraction of a percent is the first offensive equipment bonus likely to appear, and it holds the slot honorably until the Gunslinger's Scarf (+1% Kido Damage with health and reiatsu attached) or a Legendary alternative shows up.
They drop from various chests across the game, so no special route is needed - general exploration produces them. Community documentation records no drop rate, level requirement or weight, which is typical for Common chest loot.
Unlike their cousins the Arm Chains, no crafting upgrade is documented for Waist Chains - there is no electrified version or combination mechanic recorded, so what drops is what you get. The modifier system remains their one growth path: any of the game's 13 modifiers can appear on them, and a Precise roll (+5% Kido Damage) would multiply the base line nearly sevenfold, briefly making a Common chain competitive with far rarer gear. A Tailor rerolls modifiers for 400-500 Soul Tokens, though at this tier most players simply wait for better loot instead.
