Village Guard's Gauntlets

The Village Guard's Gauntlets are the budget champion of hakuda gearing. Their single stat - +2.5% Hakuda Damage - exactly matches the colored Legendary Devil's Gauntlets' damage line, at Uncommon rarity, from regular enemies in the game's starting region. A hand-to-hand player who farms these early holds a piece that stays within striking distance of endgame gauntlets (the Demon's tier tops out at +3.6%) for a fraction of the effort.

They drop from Village Guards, the humanoid enemies patrolling the Soul Society Outskirts villages - one of the few documented equipment drops from ordinary mobs rather than chests, bosses or crafting. That makes them target-farmable from level one: kill guards until the gauntlets appear. No drop rate, level requirement or weight is documented.

What they lack is any secondary stat - no health, reiatsu or defense - and, unlike the colored Devil's pairs, no documented role as crafting input for the Demon's gauntlets. They are a pure damage stopgap that happens to be an excellent one. A Menacing modifier roll (+3% Hakuda Damage, one of the game's 13 modifiers) would push them past the Devil's Royal pair; a Tailor rerolls modifiers for 400-500 Soul Tokens.
