The Leather Strap is a modest Uncommon body piece from the Soul Society Outskirts chest pool - early-game territory, and the stats reflect that. It grants +0.5% Weapon Damage and +2.5 Max Posture: a whisper of offense for weapon users and a small deepening of the guard bar. Nothing here is build-defining, but in the opening hours a body slot filled with anything beats an empty one, and the strap is among the first pieces a new player is likely to loot.

The Outskirts chests that hold it also carry the Common Doughy Scarf and the notably stronger Rare Flower Samurai's Cape, so farming that zone's chests has a real upgrade path within the same pool. Community documentation records no drop rate, level requirement or weight for the strap.

Players typically replace it once Rare-tier options appear - the Wraith Cape triples its weapon damage and adds health, and vendor jackets from The Coach offer guaranteed alternatives. Until then, a lucky modifier roll (one of the game's 13, such as Deadly's +5% Weapon Damage) can stretch its lifespan considerably; a Tailor rerolls modifiers for 400-500 Soul Tokens.
