Modifier Stones
RareModifier Stones are how you control equipment modifiers instead of gambling on random drops. Each stone carries one specific modifier, and using it applies that modifier to any piece of your equipment - letting you move a prized stat line onto the gear you actually wear.
There are 13 modifiers. The percentage attached to each is its roll chance, not its buff size - the thirteen chances add up to about 100%, which is the giveaway that they are probabilities. The actual buff each modifier grants is a '+Stat' bonus whose magnitude scales with the accessory's rarity and level, plus a small random factor (about +1-2), so the same modifier is stronger on a higher-tier piece of gear.
The most common rolls, at 11% each, are Steadfast (Max Posture), Quick (Posture Regen), Sturdy (Melee Defense), Ghostly (Kido Defense), Spacious (Equipment Load) and Tireless (Shunpo Stamina). The rarest is Celestial at 2%, a multi-stat modifier. Which stone is 'best' depends on the build - posture-hungry parry builds chase Steadfast and Quick, kido casters want Ghostly, and Celestial is the coverage pick.

Modifiers and roll chances
Each modifier below shows its roll chance and the stat it buffs. The percentage is how likely that modifier is to appear - the buff value itself is randomized by the gear's rarity and level, so it is not a fixed number. Community-documented; the chances sum to roughly 100%.
Steadfast - 11% chance - buffs Max Posture.
Quick - 11% chance - buffs Posture Regen.
Sturdy - 11% chance - buffs Melee Defense.
Ghostly - 11% chance - buffs Kido Defense.

FAQ
How do Modifier Stones work?
Each stone carries one modifier; using the stone applies that modifier to any piece of your equipment, so you can put the stat line you want on the gear you wear.
What do the modifier percentages mean?
They are roll chances - how likely each modifier is to appear - not the size of the buff. The thirteen chances add up to about 100%. The buff magnitude itself is randomized and scales with the accessory's rarity and level, so a modifier is stronger on higher-tier gear.
Which modifier is the most common?
Six modifiers tie for the highest 11% roll chance: Steadfast, Quick, Sturdy, Ghostly, Spacious and Tireless. Celestial is the rarest at 2%, and is the only multi-stat modifier.

Compiled from community documentation and cross-checked. Correction 2026-07-11: earlier revisions mislabeled each modifier's roll chance as its buff magnitude - the percentages are roll probabilities (they sum to ~100%) and the buff size is randomized by the gear's rarity and level.
