Spirit City Act 3

verified 2026-07-18 · Anime Expeditions maps

Spirit City Act 3 is the toughest Raid stage in Anime Expeditions, a Hard-only encounter where 15 waves of Soul Reapers and Soul Footsoldiers build up to Berserker, paying a flat 125 Gems and 125 Gold plus 20 Raid Tokens on every clear, and carrying a 1% pity-35 chance to drop the Kenpachi unit itself.

Spirit City Act 3 is the final and hardest of the three Spirit City raids, closing the same 15-wave, roughly 300-enemy structure with Berserker instead of Glam Reaper or Silver Serpent. The wave list follows the identical shape seen in Act 1 and Act 2, opening with 7x Soul Reaper and 9x Soul Footsoldier, thickening to 14x Soul Footsoldier and 5x Soul Reaper by the midpoint, and finishing with 15x Soul Reaper, 10x Soul Footsoldier, and 1x Crimson Fang backing up the boss.

Immunity, Tank, and Sprinter carry over from the earlier acts, but the fourth modifier changes again to Greed, which periodically drains health from placed units standing near the enemy carrying it. Spreading placements out rather than clustering high-value units close together reduces how much a Greed-tagged enemy can siphon in a single tick.

The flat clear reward stays consistent across all three acts at 125 Gems, 125 Gold, 145 Player EXP, and 1000 Unit EXP plus 2 Spirit City food items, but Act 3's token payout rises to 20 Raid Tokens and 20 Spirit City Tokens, the highest of the three. Its headline drop is the Kenpachi unit itself, at a much tighter 1% chance than Act 2's Ichigo drop, backed by a 35-clear pity counter instead of 20. A Sword item can also drop separately at 3.5% with no pity. Because both the Gem income and the Kenpachi pity are gated behind the hardest boss in the raid, Act 3 is worth prioritizing only once a team can clear it consistently without wiping.

Wave breakdown

Wave 1 opens with 7x Soul Reaper, 9x Soul Footsoldier.

By the midpoint, wave 8 of 15 throws 14x Soul Footsoldier, 5x Soul Reaper at the field.

The final wave caps the act with 15x Soul Reaper, 10x Soul Footsoldier, 1x Crimson Fang, with Berserker anchoring the push.

Farm efficiency

Act 3 pays the same flat Gem and Gold reward as Act 1 and Act 2, so it does not offer better currency income per clear on its own. Its value comes entirely from the Kenpachi unit drop, and because the base chance is only 1% against Act 2's 5% for Ichigo, the 35-clear pity counter is the more realistic path to actually obtaining Kenpachi for most players rather than expecting the natural roll.

FAQ

What is the boss of Spirit City Act 3?

Berserker closes out the act, appearing in the final wave alongside a full spawn of Soul Reapers, Soul Footsoldiers, and a Crimson Fang elite.

How do I get the Kenpachi unit?

Clear Spirit City Act 3 repeatedly. It has a 1% chance to drop the Kenpachi unit on any given clear, with a 35-clear pity counter that guarantees the drop if it has not appeared naturally by then.

Is Spirit City Act 3 harder than Act 1 and Act 2?

It uses the same wave count and enemy totals as the other two acts, but closes with Berserker, generally regarded as the toughest of the three Spirit City bosses, and swaps in the Greed modifier, which drains health from nearby placed units over the course of the fight.

What enemy modifiers appear in Spirit City Act 3?

Immunity (cannot be stunned, slowed, or otherwise crowd controlled), Tank (trades speed for a larger health pool), Sprinter (trades health for a large burst of movement speed), and Greed (periodically drains health from units standing near it).
