The Start of Your Training

The Start of Your Training is the bridge between the tutorial and the open game. It is obtained automatically after defeating Gelum in the tutorial - or after skipping the fight following a defeat - and Kuchiki's accompanying dialogue points you toward the Soul Society Outskirts to hone your skills, using the 'Faction Portal' to get there.

Notably, simply receiving the quest grants an Intelligence Extract, one of the three extracts later needed to unlock the Refund Shrine in the Outskirts (the other two come from beating the Crocodile King and the Masked Warrior). Hold onto it.

The quest lists three objectives, all exact per the community documentation: reach Lvl. 5 (X/1), go to Soul Society Outskirts (X/1), and complete 3 quests (X/3). It effectively forces a first tour of the early quest hub. Completion rewards beyond the on-obtainment Intelligence Extract are not documented.
