Humble Beginnings
Humble Beginnings is the first quest most players ever hold. It is granted automatically after completing or skipping Kuchiki's combat tutorial - no NPC needs to be found. Its flavor text sets the hook for the game's long statue mystery: the spirit in the blizzard told you to grow stronger before confronting him again, and there is something special about this statue.
The quest has two objectives: uncover the statue's mystery (X/1) and defeat Gelum (X/1). Gelum is the tutorial boss fought in the icy pass, and cross-referenced title documentation confirms that actually beating him (rather than skipping) awards the 'Comitted Warrior' title with 25 Soul Tokens and a Hogyoku Shard.
The statue thread this quest opens runs deep: the same statue at Fort Adams later anchors the level 50+ Gauntlet quest and, at level 100, Kuchiki points you back to it for the Ascension prestige system. Rewards for Humble Beginnings itself are not listed in the community documentation.
