A Holy Sword

A Holy Sword is a Unit Trial: a solo instance built specifically around evolving True Saint. The stage sits inside the King's Tomb Story Map and pits the player's preset team against a scripted King's Tomb enemy roster instead of using the map's normal wave list.

Because it is a trial and not a farmable map act, the reward is fixed rather than random. Clearing the stage once awards Holy Pendant, and there is no rerun-for-currency loop, the trial's purpose is unlocking the evolution, not grinding materials.

The team is fixed by the trial: it cannot be replaced, retraited, or rerolled. True Saint (Holy) occupies the first slot with the Unbound trait and Divergent Rainbow Sword equipped, which shapes the team's damage profile around the Light element and Magical archetype. Cursed Student (True Love) is equipped with the Bolt trait and Pirate's Slingshot, and String Demon (Awakened) runs the Forsaken trait with Webbed Fruit. Forbidden Teacher, Ice Queen, and Stone Alchemist fill the remaining slots as level 50 support with no traits or equipment.

That composition means the trial is effectively a test of positioning and skill timing rather than roster depth. Players do not need to own True Saint or any other listed unit to attempt the trial, because the preset team is dropped in for them.

The King's Tomb enemy list for this trial covers Elf Mage Clone, Ice Mage Clone (Elite), Resurrected Knight, and Gargoyles. Elf Mage Clone is the tankiest of the four and worth focusing down with True Saint (Holy)'s marked-damage burst, while Ice Mage Clone (Elite) hits the hardest and should be pulled into range as early as possible.

Resurrected Knight and Gargoyles are the main filler spawns and are best cleared with String Demon (Awakened) and Cursed Student (True Love)'s ranged pressure, keeping the melee slots free to reposition. Because the preset team is unchangeable, the main lever the player controls is placement order and skill timing rather than gear or level.

Clearing A Holy Sword awards Holy Pendant, the unique item required to evolve True Saint into True Saint (Holy). Holy Pendant is spent inside the evolution menu alongside the recipe's standard Sprite and Gold cost, and cannot be reused for any other unit's evolution.

The evolved form, True Saint (Holy), extends the base unit's cap by 3 additional tiers (from T8 up to T11) with no new passive but noticeably higher stats per tier. Because True Saint is an Exclusive-rarity Magical unit, most rosters that own it treat this trial as the priority evolution gate.
