Payload EXP

verified 2026-07-18 · Anime Expeditions materials

Payload EXP is a Rare Expedition material in Anime Expeditions used to level up the Expedition payload.

Payload EXP is earned from Boss, Assault and Defence Nodes on every Expedition map, with Assault Nodes calling it out specifically as the main way to raise the payload's level, since defeated enemies drop XP that can be collected on death during that node type.

It's tracked separately from Player EXP, Unit EXP and Battlepass EXP, feeding only into the payload that a party escorts through the Expedition.
