Elemental Weather Event
While Elemental Weather is active, one element is chosen as the event's featured power, and every enemy across non-competitive content gains an additional weakness to it, roughly a 15 percent increase in damage taken from that element on top of any weakness the enemy already had. The effect applies broadly to Story, Mastery Stages, Raids, and Challenges, but it is explicitly disabled in competitive and isolated modes such as Tournament, Trial, Sandbox, Infinite, and the Lobby, so it cannot be exploited to gain an edge in PvP scoring.
Because the boost is tied to whichever element is currently featured, its value shifts depending on which units a player has invested in. A roster stacked with units of the featured element clears content noticeably faster during the window, while a roster with little coverage of that element sees no direct benefit and may want to focus on other activities until the featured element rotates.
Elemental Weather does not run its own dedicated quest ladder the way Banner Blitz does; its page only points to the shared Event Coin and Event Shop system that spans every Event Coin source. Coin earned through normal play during the window trades in for Trait Crystal, Stat Reroll, Stat Lock, Equipment Reroll, Equipment Lock, Sprite (Grey), and Gem, with unspent coin carrying over into whichever Event Coin event runs next.
Details
How Elemental Weather works
Elemental Weather picks a single element to feature for its run and applies an extra weakness against that element to every enemy in non-competitive content. The bonus stacks on top of whatever elemental weaknesses an enemy already had, so units of the featured element deal noticeably more damage across Story, Mastery Stages, Raids, and Challenges for as long as the window is active.
The event is intentionally excluded from Tournament and other competitive or isolated modes, along with Trial, Sandbox, Infinite, and the Lobby, keeping its impact confined to progression and farming content rather than PvP scoring or practice spaces.
Building around the featured element
Since the weakness only benefits units that match the featured element, the event rewards keeping at least one strong roster of each element ready rather than specializing entirely into one. Players without a strong lineup in the currently featured element generally get more value from ignoring the boost and using the window for other farming instead, since fighting against the grain of the buff offers no advantage over a normal run.
Rewards and the Event Shop
Elemental Weather does not display its own quest milestones the way Banner Blitz or Headliner Hunt do. Whatever Event Coin accrues from playing during the window drops into the same shared Event Shop used across the game: Trait Crystal, Stat Lock, and Equipment Lock at 10 coin each, Stat Reroll and Equipment Reroll in 3-packs for 10 coin, a 5-pack of Sprite (Grey) for 10 coin, and a 200-Gem bundle for 10 coin.
FAQ
How do I know which element is featured in Elemental Weather?
The event card displayed in game shows the currently active element directly, along with a live countdown timer for how long the boosted weakness will remain active.
Does Elemental Weather work in Tournament?
No, the weakness boost is explicitly disabled in Tournament along with Trial, Sandbox, Infinite, and the Lobby, so it only affects non-competitive content like Story, Mastery Stages, Raids, and Challenges.
How much extra damage does Elemental Weather grant?
Enemies gain roughly an additional 15 percent weakness to the featured element on top of whatever elemental weakness they already had, making matching units noticeably more effective for the duration.
Does Elemental Weather have its own quests?
No, it does not run a dedicated milestone ladder like Banner Blitz. Event Coin is earned through normal play during the window and spent in the shared Event Shop.
Should I switch my team during Elemental Weather?
Only if you already own strong units of the featured element; swapping in a weaker roster just to match the element usually loses more from lower stats than it gains from the weakness bonus.
