Catch a Brainrot Formulas - MaxHP, XP, Catch Chance, Damage and Value
Two of Catch a Brainrot's core numbers are confirmed exactly: MaxHP and XP-to-next-level.
Three more - catch chance, damage and sell value - are working approximations built from in-battle samples.
MaxHP (confirmed)
MaxHP ≈ 12 x Level x Points x (2 - AttackHealthRatio), verified against 8 in-battle samples.
Points and AttackHealthRatio (AHR) come from the brainrot's own stat block. AHR above 1.0 marks a glass cannon; AHR below 1.0 marks a tank.
XP to next level (confirmed)
XP(L to L+1) ≈ 462 x 1.07^L - geometric growth, roughly 7% harder each level. Full level-by-level numbers are in the XP and Leveling guide.
CatchChance (approximation)
CatchChance ≈ (1 - HP/MaxHP) x CatchMult(tier) x BallMult(ball). The full breakdown per tier is in the Catch Mechanics guide.
Damage (hypothesis)
Damage ≈ BASE_DMG x Level x Points x AttackHealthRatio x TypeMultiplier.
BASE_DMG is not yet known. TypeMultiplier draws from the 9-type chart once a brainrot's type is confirmed per rot - see the Type Chart guide.
Value / sell price (hypothesis)
Value ≈ BASE_VALUE x RarityValue x ValMult(tier). RarityValue is each species' own internal float.
ValMult per tier: Common 1.0, Uncommon 1.6, Rare 3.3, Epic 5.3, Insane 10.0.
A practical example (Girafa Celeste at Level 30)
Girafa Celeste at Level 30 has Points 1.283 and AHR 0.954: MaxHP ≈ 12 x 30 x 1.283 x 1.046 ≈ 483.
Reaching Level 31 from there costs about 3,517 XP.
FAQ
Which Catch a Brainrot formulas are confirmed?
MaxHP (12 x Level x Points x (2 - AHR)) and XP-to-next-level (462 x 1.07^L) are both verified against real in-battle samples.
How is MaxHP calculated?
MaxHP ≈ 12 x Level x Points x (2 - AttackHealthRatio). Points and AHR both come from the brainrot's own stat block.
Is the damage formula confirmed?
Not fully - Damage ≈ BASE_DMG x Level x Points x AttackHealthRatio x TypeMultiplier is a working hypothesis, since the exact BASE_DMG constant isn't known yet.
How is sell value calculated?
Value ≈ BASE_VALUE x RarityValue x ValMult(tier), with ValMult ranging from 1.0 at Common up to 10.0 at Insane.
What does AttackHealthRatio (AHR) tell you about a brainrot?
AHR above 1.0 means more damage and less HP - a glass cannon. AHR below 1.0 means more HP and less damage - a tank.
