Solo Tournament
Solo Tournament is the weekly one player format that anchors the tournament UI at layout order one. Every season runs for seven days (604800 seconds), scores you across Total Damage and Total Kills, and drops you into a leaderboard that pays the top ranks directly and then splits the rest of the bracket into percentile bands. Because there is no team requirement, the entire five slot roster is yours to build, and the run finalizes the moment you queue in.
The format applies two rotating modifiers from Buff Ranges and Debuff Ranges each week. Buff ranges swing between minus 75 and 75 percent and debuffs between minus 150 and 75 percent, so the same seed can nerf a stat like Range by 100 percent one week and buff Damage by 40 percent the next. There is also an ExtraModifiers slot that will either read None or Traitless, meaning some seasons force every unit onto the field without their equipped trait.
The reward table pays Rank 1 through Rank 5 directly, then drops into a percentile ladder that runs from 100 percent all the way down to under 10 percent. Every band above 40 percent still pays Gems, Trait Rerolls and Crowns, so consistent players who finish in the top half walk away with several thousand Gems and dozens of Trait Rerolls without ever cracking the top 100.

How it works
Solo Tournament has no team requirement, so any player can queue with their own five unit roster, and that roster locks the instant a run is joined.
Two modifiers roll each season, one drawn from the Buff Ranges pool and one from Debuff Ranges, so a single season can swing a stat anywhere from minus 75 percent to plus 75 percent.
The Extra Modifiers slot alternates between None and Traitless, so some seasons remove every unit's trait effect for the whole ladder.
Rewards
Rank 1 pays two Seasonal skins, 10000 Gems, 75 Trait Rerolls, 750 Crowns and the Tournament Conqueror title. Beyond the top five ranks the rest of the bracket is scored on percentile, so the mode still rewards mid pack players heavily.
Top 5 percent (95 to 100): 8000 Gems, 50 Trait Rerolls, 500 Crowns
Top 10 percent (90 to 95): 7500 Gems, 30 Trait Rerolls, 200 Crowns
Top 20 percent (80 to 89.99): 7000 Gems, 25 Trait Rerolls, 125 Crowns
Top 30 percent (70 to 79.99): 3000 Gems, 20 Trait Rerolls, 75 Crowns
Top 40 percent (60 to 69.99): 2500 Gems, 15 Trait Rerolls, 70 Crowns
Top 50 percent (50 to 59.99): further Gem and Trait Reroll payouts
Lower bands pay reduced Gem and Trait Reroll stacks down toward the bottom of the ladder
Best strategy
Scout the week's two modifiers before locking a roster, since a harsh debuff on a core stat can undercut an otherwise strong solo comp.
On Traitless weeks, favor units whose numbers hold up on base kit alone rather than ones balanced around a trait bonus.
Because scoring covers both Total Damage and Total Kills, a roster that only maximizes burst damage can lose ground to a comp that also clears fast for kill count.
Schedule
Solo Tournament runs on a fixed seven day season and sits at layout order one, the very first entry in the tournament menu.
A new season with a fresh pair of modifiers opens as soon as the previous one ends, so the ladder is effectively always live.
FAQ
How do I join the Solo Tournament in Anime Expeditions?
Solo Tournament has no team requirement, so you can queue alone at any time with whichever five unit roster you want. Your team finalizes the moment you join, so build your lineup before you queue in.
What is the reward for winning the Solo Tournament?
Rank 1 wins two Seasonal skins, 10000 Gems, 75 Trait Rerolls, 750 Crowns and the Tournament Conqueror title. Rank 5 still earns both Seasonal skins alongside 9000 Gems, 50 Trait Rerolls and 500 Crowns.
How long does a Solo Tournament season last?
A Solo Tournament season runs for seven days before the leaderboard locks and payouts go out. The next season then opens immediately with a new pair of rotating modifiers.
How does Solo Tournament scoring work?
Solo Tournament scores you on combined Total Damage and Total Kills for the week, then ranks the bracket from Rank 1 down through percentile bands. Players outside the top ranks still bank Gems, Trait Rerolls and Crowns as long as they land in the top half of the bracket.
Which units are best for Solo Tournament in Anime Expeditions?
Because the Extra Modifiers slot can flip to Traitless for the week, it pays to keep a bench of units that perform well on base stats alone, not just ones that lean on a strong trait. On normal weeks a mix of a heavy Damage DPS and a Kill focused clearer covers both halves of the Total Damage and Total Kills score.
