Astral Shards are MythFall's premium currency, bought with Robux and spent in the Premium Shop on boosters, extra save slots, attribute resets and VIP status. The in-game icon is a purple crystal shown next to your Gold on the HUD.
GoldStandard
Gold is MythFall's standard soft currency, earned by playing the game and shown as a gold coin on the HUD next to your Astral Shards. It is the free-to-earn counterpart to the premium Astral Shard.
