Rootitan
Rootitan holds a special place in the reveal timeline: creators walking through the sneak peeks in order identify it as 'the very first legendary Eleon revealed to us', which made it the template for how Eleons stages its boss-class creatures.
The official cinematic plays like a nature documentary turning ominous - the forest goes quiet, a jade light rises, roots buckle the ground, and a giant of ancient wood with luminous markings stands up out of the landscape. Creators' shorthand for the design was immediate: it reads like a colossal Groot.
The same reveal footage doubled as a combat tech demo: a dedicated legendary-encounter cutscene plays before the fight, and the battle camera visibly switches angles mid-battle - at one point framing the action from behind Rootitan itself, which creators called out as unusually cinematic for the genre on Roblox.
Details
What the reveal showed
The cinematic establishes the Warden formula the later guardians followed: a themed region (grasslands/deep forest), an environmental buildup, a scale-flexing entrance and then a battle transition with dynamic camera work. Fan maps place Rootitan's encounter at a forest altar, but that placement is community cartography, not official.
Creators covering the game's structure describe region-bound guardians in exactly Rootitan's mold - a guardian for the volcano area, one for the forest, and so on - making Rootitan the presumed first of a full set of regional Wardens. How many exist is unannounced; Aquietus, Victrious and Ropyrus have since been shown with matching 'Guardian' title cards.
Open questions
Nothing is confirmed about fighting Rootitan in practice: whether the encounter is solo or raid-scaled, whether it can be captured, its level, moves, typing or respawn rules. The distinction between 'Warden' and 'Legendary' is itself still blurry - fan databases track Warden as its own rarity class, but official material has not defined the terms. Verified encounter data will replace this section at launch.
